Coaching History

Coach Donovan has been a professional trainer since October of 2010. During this time, Coach Donovan has had the privilege of working first hand with current and former NBA players and well as current overseas players playing in their respectable leagues. Coach Donovan is known for his elite level training style which requires an extreme focus to details as well as a complete understanding of how to score and why. His attention to details is why he’s been sought out by some Florida top high school prospects with the attempt to improve their knowledge and over all skillset. Coach Donovan also takes tremendous pride in his ability to develop grade school level athletes. He believes that with proper guidance, detail instructions, and a passion to teach, that anyone can develop the skillset to become a complete basketball player no matter the age.

Training Philosophy

Coach Donovan is proud of each players he has had the honor of working with no matter the level of achievement on or off the basketball court. He has always approached coaching with a selfless attitude. “ Its not about me, its about them. This is their journey I’m just here to guide them along the way.” Coach Donovan is not only a coach to his players; he’s also a mentor, a friend, and someone they all can look to for guidance. “Champions aren’t made in the gym, Champions are made from something they have deep inside them, a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.” Muhammed Ali
