Keisha grew up in Racine, Wisconsin and attended Park High School 1988-1992. In 1993-1994 she attended the University of Arizona on an athletic scholarship, transferring to the University of Wisconsin 1994-1998 where she graduated with a bachelor degree in History and a minor in criminal justice.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Keisha went on to play professional basketball in Europe, The American Basketball League, The National Woman's League and The WNBA (200-2012).

Upon retiring from professional basketball in 2013, Keisha went  on to establish Firenice Basketball Academy in Dallas, Texas (2014-2023).
