BACKGROUND
Matt Ivers grew up in Cooper City, Florida, and spent his formative years in New Berlin, Wisconsin. A multi-sport high school athlete and college football player, he earned All-Conference honors in basketball and football and was a two-time team MVP in basketball. He brings over a decade of experience coaching boys and men’s basketball across the high school and collegiate levels, with a background spanning NCAA Division III and NCCAA basketball. He currently serves as Varsity Assistant Coach at Milwaukee Reagan High School.

Extensive experience in player development, scouting, and film evaluation
Experience working Division I and III camps and showcases, including Wofford, Guilford College, and Saint Louis University youth camp
Participated in Division I practice and professional development opportunities through established coaching mentorship networks
TNBA ACADEMY
Matt steps into the role of Boys AAU Director with a focus on player development, program structure, and building strong relationships within the Milwaukee basketball community. He has coached under respected leaders throughout his career, including Wisconsin Hall of Fame coach Paul Wollersheim at Martin Luther, a Division I–III coach (K. Taylor), and Hall of Fame coach (R. Nelson) at Hiwassee. He and Lance have known each other for over a decade through a shared connection in the South, and he regards Lance as a class act with a strong basketball and program-building pedigree. Matt is grateful for the opportunity to lead and build within TNBA.
