COACH PROFILE:
Ryan is originally from Billings, Montana, where he attended Billings West High School. He continued his education at Dickinson State University on a basketball scholarship and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education with a minor in Coaching. In 2013, Ryan relocated to Orlando to begin coaching and training with TNBA. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys running, golfing, spending time with his dog, Whiskey, and traveling the world to share and teach the game of basketball.

Dickinson State University (2008-2012)
Coach Ryan went from a freshman red-shirt, to a starting point guard and team captain as a senior. It was his job to defend the best perimeter player each game and facilitate his team’s offense. He took pride in getting better each day and being the hardest worker on the floor.
TNBA CAREER:
After completing his studies, Ryan accepted the position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Dickinson State University, where he served for two seasons. In 2013, he moved to Orlando to begin working with TNBA, where he has since had the opportunity to train youth basketball teams from around the world. Ryan has worked with teams from more than 25 countries and has traveled internationally to destinations including France, Spain, Belgium, Germany, and Senegal to train players of all ages and skill levels. He has also worked alongside several professional athletes, including Victor Oladipo, Evan Fournier, Chandler Parsons, Kyle O’Quinn, Nick Anderson, and Bo Outlaw. Ryan has been the TNBA Orlando city director since 2023.
